Well, winter has finally arrived in the Northwoods of Wisconsin and the snow is piling up. We look forward to winter because the Albino Whitetail deer look so breathtaking in their fluffy white coats of winter camouflage. Everything is covered in a blanket of snow and it truly is a winter wonderland.

The Albino Whitetail deer does had 4 fawns and all of them were brown. This is quite rare indeed. Every night now the whole group of Albino mothers and their brown fawns show up in the meadow. My wife and I spend many hours taking pictures and movies of these amazing wild and rare animals. We posted a new movie to You Tube and post new pictures every week to this website. So check back often to see the latest pictures and videos.

The four Albino Whitetail Deer does that live near our land have all had their fawns and should be bringing them to the meadow any day now. We are hoping some of the fawns will be white fawns. There are so many predators, like wolves and bears around here, that they hide their fawns till they are quite big and can run to escape any danger. As soon as we see any of the fawns we will be posting pictures of them on the website.

There will be a new Albino "White Deer " video we will be posting on You Tube as soon as we are finished processing it.

We put new Albino pictures on each week so check back to see the latest.

June 11, 2010:

The White-tail fawns should be born very soon. We are hoping for at least one albino fawn this year as we have at least four does that could potentially be pregnant. An albino doe can have either a white or brown fawn depending on what buck it mates with. If the buck has the recessive albino gene, then the fawn will be white, if it does not, the fawn will be brown. We are hoping to see new white deer to increase the number of albinos in the herd that lives around us.
